Thomas H Halton Park is a family-friendly park located on Lake Macquarie. It features an accessible pirate-themed playground, water play area, BBQ areas, new toilets, a skate park, and a fenced-off dog park. The park has plenty of parking, seating, and shaded areas for picnics, as well as open grass fields for various sports and activities. There are also concrete walking paths around the park, boat ramp, and beautiful views of the lake. The park is well-maintained, and visitors of all ages can find something to enjoy here.

Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
